4. All I ate today was pancakes, candy, and rice poridge 8D (Con food yes)
5. I really haven't seen that much anime xD; I'm more of a gamer who likes anime than an anime fan who also games, y'know?

1. Do you have a "guilty pleasure" anime?
Does Gurren Lagann count? XD I freaking LOVE that series so much, but none of my friends take it seriously, so I guess it counts. (I also don't really take it seriously XDD But I still love it so much!)
2. How about a game?
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. THAT GAME IS MY CHILDHOOD. Even playing it now makes me super happy xD (It's also why playing Sonic Generations was one big giant fangasm for me)
3. If you could meet any voice actor in the world, who would it be?
STEPHEN FUCKING MERCHANT. Wait, he's really a comedian who happened to voice act in one or two things...does he count? Let's say he counts
4. If you could cosplay as any character you want, who would it be?
Oh wow, toughie. Because I have to find someone that would be super hard to do for real...going with Tabooty Sho. I don't think I'll ever be able to find a way to do it IRL (unless I can super bind and like make the tatoos out of black fabric or something).
5. What's your favorite video game soundtrack?
Sonic Generations, only because listening to it is like a musical adventure through my childhood.
6. Do you have a favorite movie?
Uhhh...I honestly don't know, I like a LOT of movies. I'm gonna go Megamind though. I honestly LOVE that movie WAAAAAY more than I should XD It's so hysterical and adorable and I really don't get tired of watching it XDD (God I sound like I'm 10 and I realize this XD)

GURREN LAGANN!! My favorite manga, however, is Chrono Crusade. They're different because I don't like the Chrono Crusade anime, but I ADORE THE MANGA TO DEATH. Never read the Gurren Lagann manga, actually...

Sonic Generations

So I made a similar journal to this when Sonic Colors came out last year, and I also already pretty much said this all on tumblr, but I just have to spazz to SOMEONE and since no one in person really understands I'm spamming the internet, yay XD
Basically, I bought Sonic Generations because I was having a bad week, it was an impulse buy because I wanted to distract myself with something. Unfortunately, I couldn't play it the night I bought it because my family went over to a family friend's house. They, however, had an xbox 360, which was what my game was for. This ALSO happened to be the family friend who got me into Sonic in the first place waaaaaay back when he showed me the beauty that was Sonic Adventure 2 Battle. All I had to tell him was that there was a remake of the City Escape stage from SA2B in it and he instantly agreed that we should play it at his house. For the next hour or so, we all switched off doing stages until we finally unlocked City Escape. We each took a turn playing the stage, singing along with the background music at the top of our lungs, and reliving our favorite parts of the original and how great that game was, making my crappy day become an awesome night.
Skip ahead to now, and I've just beaten Generations. This game was like a gift from heaven; I don't think I've had so much joy while playing a video game for a long time. They pretty much just hi-def-ed my childhood, like the sequence before you fight Shadow, and PERFECT CHAOS. Much fangirling was had. I haven't fangirled over something related to Sonic since 9th grade.
What this really has done for me though? It's made me realize that even though I told myself 3 and a half years ago that I would never again enter the Sonic fandom, Sonic the Hedgehog never truly left my heart. I may not read Sonic fanfiction anymore, but I still have a soft spot for my OTP. I haven't RP'd Sonic for a long time, but I love my Sonic OCs so much more than any other OC of mine for any other piece of fiction, or even actually characters created from my own mind for my own stories (and there are actually moments where I'm sitting at home thinking, "Man I wish I could RP Sonic again, just for the nostalgia...").
In a few months, I may go back to my old ways of scorning all things Sonic (because it brings up memories of how immature and "weaboo-ish" I was while in the Sonic fandom >__>; ), at least until the next game comes out who-knows-when, but I'm hoping that this time, I don't. That the part of Sonic that I put behind me is just the immature fan part, and I manage to keep the fan that I am now.
Well, this may sound sappy to some of you, or think I'm just making a big deal out of some stupid video games, but y'know what? On the list of things that have affected my life, Sonic the Hedgehog is right under Disney, at the top of the list. It's just how I am I'm gonna end this by saying that if you were a fan of ANY of the Sonic games, and own a Xbox 360 or PS3 (the 3DS version comes out in February), then you should buy this game. You'll be happy you did.

First Day At School: Animal I Have Become - Three Days Grace (Yes, I see the theme. I'm super angsty. I am a robot, and super angsty, I'm a super angsty robot. Exciting.)
Falling In Love: Dude (Looks Like a Lady) - Aerosmith (XDD The sheer beauty of getting this song for this one. I fell in love with a womanly dude. Or a drag queen. Either or.)
